Why Guys Should Attend Women's Events

Thousands of women's organizations have sprouted up: businesswomen's associations, societies of women's engineers, etc. These offer invaluable networking opportunities. For reasons too complicated to explore here, there are few men's networking organizations. Recently, I spoke at a American Women in Radio and TV event. During the networking session, I noticed that the few male attendees were getting plenty of attention from the women, perhaps, in part, because the women admired their bravery at showing up.

What can you do today?
If you're a guy who's looking for a networking (and social?) opportunity, see if you'd be allowed to attend a women's event.
