Too Much Work to Do?
By Marty Nemko
You're already managing time well: You prioritize, you try to be efficient, you even caved in and bought a PalmPilot. Yet you still rarely catch up at work. One solution: an intern. Have him do tasks you dislike or do poorly, that aren't too routine (That would be unfair to the intern) yet not so complicated that by the time you finish training him, the internship's over.
What can you do today? After clearing it with your boss, post a position announcement at a local college's internship office. You could find yourself with a big timesaver.
