Online Marketing: A Banner Career

Every website wants traffic. The online marketer's job is to get it there. Submit the site in the right way to the search engines, conduct e-mail marketing campaigns, arrange link exchanges (I'll link to your site if you'll link to mine), post to newsgroups, advertise on related sites, and add traditional advertising and public relations. A direct marketing background is good preparation, but if you learn a lot from the following sites and their links, you may be hireable.
