Gab May Not be a Gift

By Marty Nemko

Ever speak with someone who blabbed on endlessly? Long after you've spaced out, they prattle on. If you're like me, you think of such people as self-absorbed and clueless. What can you do today?
Rule of thumb: Speak for no more than one minute without stopping or asking a question. If the listener wants to hear more, she can ask. She rarely will. Try it and see.
